We believe rangatahi  deserve public service media. We think you deserve one space on the internet that’s not trying to get you to spend your cash, or to take your data and sell it to someone else. And that gives you good, trustworthy, information — not fake news.

Tahi is a commercial free, editorially independent, ​public service media platform created for the rangatahi of Aotearoa. TAHI exists to connect rangatahi with the music, stories and culture of Aotearoa​.

We respect your privacy

We want to make sure you can find Tahi in the places you already are — social media and listening platforms. That means we’re sending you off to some sites and services that are less than great at protecting your privacy. We think it’s important you are informed about that. You can read the RNZ privacy policy, but basically, we will only collect data about you that helps make our mahi better and helps our kaimahi stay on track. We will never sell that data, and it will always be as anonymous as possible.
